Last month, in Maine Policy's Open Letter to Maine’s Legislature, lawmakers were urged to stop advancing LD 1666, the bill that would force ranked-choice voting (RCV) on elections for Governor, State Senator, and State Representative.

The above ballot shows how to vote for your candidate if your first choice is your only choice. It is acceptable to vote your favorite candidate straight across the same row, from 1st through # of columns shown on your ballot. This is safer for your ballot (and your choice) if you are concerned with chain of custody.
